Lil Wayne Says Retirement Tweet Was ‘After an Argument’

lil-wayne-not-retiringLil Wayne has clarified his comments about retiring, chalking the declaration up to him being upset at the time.

The rapper recently had everyone all in a tizzy when he tweeted that he was “done”. Everyone took it as meaning that he’s done rapping and would be retiring from the game–but Wayne says not so fast.

“This was a tweet after an argument,” he explained on on Fox Sports’ Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. “This is business. I have family, I have kids, I have a mother. You got bills. Once the business is right, then everything is right. I did feel that way, and I didn’t take the tweet down because I say I still feel that way.”

Tunechi also went on to say that he has no plans of ever working with Birdman again and that once he receives his settlement he plans on moving on with his life (as far as Cash Money and Birdman are concerned).
