‘Luke Cage’ Is Harlem’s Reluctant Hero in New Extended Trailer

Luke Cage extended trailerNetflix and Marvel look like they have another super-hit on their hands with the upcoming release of Luke Cage.

The new trailer gives fans an even closer look at the latest Marvel series, this one following the reluctant hero as he tries to save Harlem. Cage reveals that he wasn’t born a superhuman nor did he choose to become one- rather, he was the result of some sort of experiment that left him with super strength and an unbreakable body. Now, as he sees Harlem falling apart around him, he must choose whether to sit idly by and watch it happen, or put his powers to good use. We’ll let you guess which one he ends up settling on.

The series stars Mike Colter as the titular hero, Mahershala Ali as bad guy Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe and Rosarion Dawson is set to appear as her Daredevil character Claire Temple.
