Tupac Wants His True Story Told in First ‘All Eyez On Me’ Teaser

All Eyez On Me
The first look at the long-awaited Tupac biopic, All Eyez On Me, is here and if they didn’t do anything else right, they definitely cast an actor that will make you do a double take looks-wise.

The trailer was released on June 16th, what would have been the famed rapper’s 45th birthday, and is a brief look at the Atlanta-filmed biopic that will set out to tell the whole story about the life of the influential lyricist.

“Son, this ain’t just about you,” we hear Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur, played by The Walking Dead‘s Danai Gurira, warn her son. “Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back. They are going to give you the tools that you need to destroy yourself. So above all else, to thine own self be true.”

In addition to Gurira, the film stars newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, The Vampire Diaries‘ Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett, Jamal Woolard as Biggie Smalls (he also played Biggie in Notorious) and many more.
