Gucci Mane Released From Prison

Gucci Mane is a free man.

The 36-year-old rapper was released from prison on Thursday morning after serving 3 years in an Atlanta prison for a parole violation, according to TMZ. Gucci will be on house arrest for a few months and then on probation.

The site reported a few months ago that the rapper’s lawyer had filed a motion, saying that he did not receive proper credit for previous time served. Due to his early release, the judge may have agreed.

Reports of Gucci’s release started surfacing after his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir posted videos to her Snapchat. The reunited couple is seen holding hands before heading home where “Welcome Home” balloons and a new Maybach await Gucci.

The rapper also enjoyed a delicious first dinner home, surrounded by friends and family, including producer Mike Will Made It:
