Kandi Burruss Gives Birth to a Son
It’s a boy for Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star welcomed a son Wednesday morning at 8:42 a.m. Weighing in at 7 lbs and 6 oz., the couple was overjoyed with their new bundle of joy.
“Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect,” Burruss, 39, told People Magazine.
Earlier that morning, hubby Todd, 41, gave fans an update on Instagram, sharing: “Getting ready for Baby Tucker 1.6.16. I can’t wait to meet my little man.”
While this the couple’s first child together, Burruss also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Riley, 13, and Tucker also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Kaela, 19.
While Burruss struggled to conceive the second time around, a little bit of luck turned that around and both her and Tucker were thrilled to discover they were expecting.
“It’s a dream come true,” she told E! at the time, while Tucker, 41, added that “Kaela and Riley couldn’t be happier about becoming big sisters.”
The proud parents have been married since April 2014.
