Jussie Smollett and Estelle To Perform At UNCF An Evening of Stars®

Black-ish star Anthony Anderson will return to host United Nego College Fund’s (UNCF) An Evening of Stars® for the third consecutive year.

The evening, which supports people of color in higher education, will be graced with performances by Jussie Smollet, K. Michelle, Yolanda Adams and Estelle. Smollett and Estelle are slated to perform a special duet version of her single “Conqueror,” as seen on the hit FOX series Empire.

UNCF An Evening of Stars®, formerly the Lou Rawls Parade of Stars®, first aired in 1979. Since that time, the evening has become of the longest-running and most successful televised events in U.S. history, raising over $200 million to help hundreds of thousands of students attend college and graduate programs over its 36-year history.

An Evening of Stars® received NAACP Image Awards for its 2006 tribute to Stevie Wonder, its 2008 tribute to Smokey Robinson and its 2010 tribute to Lionel Richie.
