Terrence Howard To Star In FOX’s ‘Wayward Pines’

Once he wraps the first season of Fox’s Empire, actor Terrence Howard will be starring in a new M. Night Shyamalan’s limited series titled Wayward Pines, slated to premiere in May 2015.

The 10-episode psychological thriller is described as follows:

Secret Service agent Ethan Burke arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, ID, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan’s investigation only turns up more questions. What’s wrong with Wayward Pines? Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.

Howard plays Sheriff Pope, the town of Wayward Pine’s top cop, who takes offense when Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) comes into town to investigate the disappearance of two agents.

Wayward Pines premieres on May 14 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
