Cosby Breaks Silence In Video Message To Fans

Bill Cosby, who has been embroiled in scandal following sexual assault allegations, released his first video message to fans this morning (March 9).

The comedian doesn’t address the allegations, but is instead heard reassuring a mystery person on the other end of a phone call that he will still be performing at his upcoming scheduled events.

In what seems to be the actor’s first attempt at reputation rehabilitation, the video was accompanied with a message from Cosby that read: “Dear fans, I hope you enjoy my wonderful video message that’s filled with laughter…Hey, hey, hey, I’m far from finished.”

Although he has yet to be charged with a crime, the funnyman manages to poke fun at his ongoing sitation during one of his stand-up performances in Ontario, where he reportedly saw a woman exiting from the front row and asked where she was going. She responded that she was going to grab a drink and asked if he’d like one.

Cosby reportedly replied, “I already have one” and pointed to his bottle of water before adding, “You have to be careful about drinking around me.”

The joke cued a few gasps that were then followed by claps and laughter before the audience attributed the comedian with a standing ovation at the end of his two-hour set.

The Cosby Show star has been accused of sexual assaulting over 20 women, but has not been charged with a crime and has yet to publicly address the allegations made by the women.
