Big Sean’s ‘Dark Sky Paradise’ Debuts at No.1 on Billboard 200

Big Sean’s latest album, Dark Sky Paradise, has earned the rapper his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

The artist’s third album was released through G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Records on Feb. 24 and moved 173,000 units in the week ending March 1, according to Nielsen Music.

The critically-acclaimed and career-defining album features the E-40-assisted hit “I Don’t F— With You” as well as the Drake-assisted banger “Blessings.”

Big Sean seems extremely grateful for his fans’ support, and he was sure to thank fans for such an amazing accomplishment.

“Thank u guys for an amazing week and giving me my 1st #1 album! Dark Sky Paradise! The support means everything. truly Blessed!” he tweeted.

The 26-year-old protégé of Kanye West beat out Kid Rock’s First Kiss album for the No. 1 spot. He is joined in the top 10 by Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late at No. 4 and Chris Brown and Tyga’s Fan of a Fan: The Album at No. 7.
