Kanye West to Perform Free Concert in Manhattan

Fresh off his controversial Grammy Awards stunt, it has been announced that Kanye West’s next performance will be in Manhattan for a free concert.

The show will be held near Madison Square Garden, and is being organized by Jay Z’s company Roc Nation as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend Concert. Kanye is expected to hit the stage at 8.

Kevin Durant is also expected to make an appearance.

The concert comes just days after the rapper came really close to crashing Beck’s acceptance speech during the live presentation of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The moment happened when Beck’s Morning Phase surprisingly won Best Album of the Year, beating out front-runners Beyoncé, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran.

West smiled and quickly left the stage– which left many to believe that he was joking– but he made it clear that it was not a joke during a rant after the Grammys.

West famously interrupted Taylor Swift when she beat Beyoncé at the MTV’s Video Music Awards in 2009.
