Not only did he take home four awards at the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 8), but British soul singer Sam Smith also had the chance to share the stage with musical soul-mate Mary J. Blige for a glorious rendition of his hit “Stay With Me.”

Accented by the warm glow of lamps on stage, the duo was accompanied by an orchestra and a choir to perform this year’s Song of the Year, which earned Smith a grand total of six nominations for the night.

The Brit crooner has partnered with Blige before, where he co-wrote lead single “Right Now” and “Therapy” in her 2014 album, London Sessions.

Smith saw a successful night for the debut of his album In the Lonely Hour, which won a total of four awards: Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

“I want to thank the man who this record is about, who I fell in love with last year,” the 22-year-old said in his acceptance speech. “Thank you so much for breaking my heart because you got me four Grammys.”

Smith will be embarking on his world tour this spring. Check here for more information.
