Lil Wayne To Release ‘Free Weezy Album’

Despite the ongoing tension between Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne, the rapper revealed that he will be releasing the Free Weezy Album soon… FOR FREE!

With Weezy’s Tha Carter V album still up in the air, Lil Wayne is suing Cash Money Records, including co-founder Birdman, for $51 million. Asking to be cut from the contract from the label, the YMCMB rapper says he has not been paid the advances he was supposed to recieve once the album was finished, thus deeming the contract void. Cash Money Records has been home for Wayne since he was a teen.

The new project announcement comes just weeks after the release of his mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait 2 (Jan. 20), which features artists Drake, 2 Chainz, Christina Milian and Mack Maine.
