Jagged Edge Singer Arrested for Allegedly Beating Fiancée

Kyle Norman Mug shot

Jagged Edge member Kyle “Quick” Norman was arrested early Thursday morning following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly punched and choked his fiancée, at one point shoving her engagement ring down her throat.

Police were called to the residence after receiving a call about a fight between the engaged couple.

Police stated in their report that when they arrived, the victim’s eyes had welts under them and there was a golf ball sized knot on her upper left forehead. She also had a cut to her nose and it appeared as if she had a blood clot in her right eye that had burst.

The woman– who has not been identified– told the officer that Norman became irate after an argument about drinking and told her “she was going to die today,” police said.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the victim told police Norman punched her, choked her with the scarf she was wearing, shoved her engagement ring down her throat, took her keys and broke her cell phone.

Norman is at the Fulton County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan told The AJC in an email.

“There’s a bench warrant for criminal trespassing – damage which carries at $1,000 surety bond but he can’t leave until he is seen by a judge tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.,” she said.
