Kim Kardashian Mocks Her Selfie Addiction in New Super Bowl Ad

Kim Kardashian-West knows how to make fun of herself, which is exactly what she does in her new Super Bowl commercial for T-Mobile. The reality star debuted her Super Bowl commercial Monday on Conan with Conan O’Brien.

In the 30-second clip, the 35-year-old reality star gives a faux PSA highlighting the ways consumers of wireless companies are missing out on millions of gigs of unused data each month.

During the commercial, she is seen taking selfies in several scenes including in a vanity mirror, playing tennis, in a fitting, and on the ski slopes– all things that consumers would miss out on without the right amount of data.

“Data that could be used to see my make-up, my backhand, my outfits, my vacations, and my outfits,” the wife of Kanye West explains during her commercial.

At the end of the commercial, she makes a plea to “save the data.”

The ad promotes T-Mobile’s Data Stash campaign and how the wireless company plans  on giving customers back their unused data on smartphones.

For the reality star, the ad is the perfect opportunity for her to show her comedic side to millions.

“I think it’s such an iconic time, everyone watches the Super Bowl,” she says. “We wanted to come up with something that was fun, witty, sexy and I think this commercial really kind of has everything,” she says of the sarcastic T-Mobile ad.

“Whether it’s business calls, selfies, whatever, I’m always on my phone,” says the star, 34. “And the concept was just so fun and I just got it right away, it clicked.”

This new selfie commercial comes right after Kardashian announced her new selfie book “Selfish,” which will appear on bookshelves in April this year. Kardashian-West also starred in a Super Bowl ad for Sketchers in 2011.
