Future Returns To Atlanta For “Mad Luv” Video

Future unleashed a music video for a track taken from his Monster mixtape released last fall, which bring fans back to the rapper’s hometown in the city of Atlanta.

Directed by Rick Nyce, “Mad Luv” features cameos by Rae Sremmurd, Mike WiLL Made It and the Centennial Olympic Park statue. The Freeband Gang leader rides around his old stomping grounds in a Bentley and takes a stroll down railroad tracks all while showing his support for Eric Garner in not one, but two ‘I Can’t Breathe’ sweatshirts.

“I wanted to go back to my roots before I start this journey of creating album music,” Future told The FADER. “So I came back to Atlanta, Lil Mexico—Kirkwood—to be specific, to shoot ‘Mad Luv.'”

The mixtape is out now with Future’s upcoming collaborative with Zaytoven, titled “Beast Mode,” slated to release Jan. 15.
