Rapper 50 Cent Signs $78 Million Underwear Deal

Rapper 50 cent closed another multi-million dollar endorsement deal with FRIGO RevolutionWear to promote men’s underwear. Yes, an exact $78 million for undergarments.

“It’s $100 at Neimen Marcus,” he said during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “These $100 underwear were actually hand-created and actually hand-stitched. They have a technology in ’em where you can put your man apples. For you to place your sack in another sack that has been [ergonomically] designed for comfort.”

Although the product was designed prior to 50 cent’s involvement, he was quick to defend the hefty price tag by comparing the high-end underwear to women’s expenditure on lingerie.

According to the brand, the new product was “created to revolutionize the underwear industry by offering men optimal comfort, moisture-control and support, with style and practicality in mind.”

The Queens rapper has played a big role in promoting the underwear over the last year with his video for “Winner’s Circle,” which featured boxer Ryan Martin wearing FRIGO gear, as well as playing host for the FRIGO launch party.

FRIGO RevolutionWear also partnered with former Yankees short-stop Derek Jeter, current New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony and music producer Timbaland.
