Lil Wayne Covers ‘NYLON Guys’ Magazine

Six days before Tha Carter V album was slated to hit record stores, Lil Wayne flashed his signature platinum-plated smile through a cloud of smoke on the cover of NYLON Guys magazine.

Between smoke sessions and skate breaks at his Miami mansion, the famed YMCMB rapper discussed his love for music as the “last of a dying breed” in the music industry.

“That’s all I do and all I know, 366 days a year, 25 hours a day, eight days a week,” he said regarding his passion for music. “This is my life and what I breathe… This isn’t something I do. It’s who I am.”

The self-proclaimed “greatest rapper alive” made mention of only two other musicians he considered to be on his level. Can you guess who they are?

“You have to want to be unforgettable,” he pointed out. “The only other people who I can think of like that are Kanye [West] and Beyonce.”

Although Tha Carter V album was scheduled to drop next week, recent tweets from Weezy’s Twitter account beg to differ:
