After 11 pro seasons and two championships, NBA All-Star LeBron James is finally endorsing a vehicle. The Los Angeles Clippers star signed the multimillion-dollar deal to be “ambassador” for the 2015 Kia K900 luxury sedan.

“Everything I do, I kind of want to be authentic to what I do,” James said, later revealing that Kia’s stance as NBA’s official automaker played into his decision. “They also do a lot of great promoting as far as the game, and me being one of the top guys in our league to try and promote the game, I thought it was fitting.”

James previously donated Kia cars he won as a result of winning the league’s MVP award to charity, but asked his business partner if he could get the new $66,000 car to drive around.

“We were not actively seeking another endorser, but LeBron told us after driving the car around this summer that he liked it so much,” said vice president of marketing at Kia Motors America. “We decided to partner with him. He brought us instant credibility.”

The 2015 Kia K900 V8 is on sale now in “select markets with limited availability,” according to Kia Motors America. It starts at $60,400, including a $900 destination charge and an option $6,000 VIP package that adds a long list of amenities, including power reclining rear seats.
