Drake Tops The Beatles’ Billboard Hot 100 Record

Drake has reached a significant milestone in his career, scoring his 72nd appearance on the Billboard Hot 100s chart and placing him directly in front of the Beatles. The Toronto rapper was able to reach the record thanks to his feature on iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday” track, which entered the singles chart at No. 90 last week.

The rapper now has the eight-most Hot 100 entries, still behind (in order) “Glee” cast songs, Elvis, Lil Wayne, James Brown, Jay Z, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin.

Drake’s boss and labelmate, Lil’ Wayne, is currently the reigning rapper on the list with 122 entries. Jay Z comes in second with 82, but in order to get the overall number one spot, the “Trophies” rapper has to beat out the cast of “Glee,” who have a whopping 207 entries.

Sharing his accomplishment on Instagram, Drake captioned a photo, “Bigger fish to fry my G #SOUND.”
