Apollo Nida Reports to Prison After Fight with Phaedra Parks

Real Housewives of Atlanta husband Apolla Nida reported to prison to begin an eight-year federal sentence for a fraud conviction, despite doing so a day late. Instead of turning himself in yesterday, he opted to visit his wife, Phaedra Parks, and pick a massive fight.

According to TMZ, Nida was in a rage because Parks refused to put money into his prison account during the upcoming sentence. She also refused to bring their children to visit him while in prison, causing him to go ballistic.

He reportedly screamed at Parks, forced his way inside the home, and started throwing stuff into a bag.

“What the f—is the matter with you,” adding, “I don’t give a f— about the police, call them, I dare you.”

TMZ reports that things really got out of hand, and Bravo cameras were there to capture the chaos.

If the incident does make it to the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, if should be interesting to see how Parks reacts because she has not publicly commented on her marriage or her husband’s legal issues. In fact, she didn’t even bother to show up for his sentencing.

Parks, a lawyer and reality TV star, would not comment on the record about tabloid reports that she was upset that Nida ignored his children and spent much of his time drinking in clubs during the last weeks leading up to his prison stint .

“Phaedra is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests,” her publicist said in a statement to CNN on Wednesday. “This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family, and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone’s lives.”

Nida, 35, is now checked into prison as inmate 65725-019 prison spokesman Kenny Coleman said Thursday.

Before being processed in, Apollo tweeted one last message.

“I would like to say thanks 4 everyone’s support & thanks 4 holding me in prayer I’ve arrived 2 my destination and I’m going asunder,” he tweeted.
