Evan Ross Weds Ashlee Simpson
Congrats are in order for Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson!
The couple wed Sunday night in a private ceremony at the home of the groom’s mother, Diana Ross, in Greenwich, Conn.
According to NY Daily News, “the bride reportedly wore a pearl-embellished long sleeved wedding gown paired with $750,000 worth of Neil Lane rubies and diamonds and a tiara. Lane also designed her engagement ring. Ross was said to be dapper in a black velvet tux with a white silk trim.”
At intimate affair, the bride was walked down the aisle by her 5-year-old son Bronx, and her older sister Jessica Simpson served as her matron of honor.
The groom’s family also played a significant part in the couple’s big day. Diana Ross reportedly performed at the wedding and Tracee Ellis Ross, Evan’s sister, served as the evening’s MC.
The couple has not shared photos of the big day, but we’re sure it was beautiful.
Ashlee, 29, and Evan, 26, first went public in July of last year, two years after Simpson’s divorce from her first husband Pete Wentz. The couple announced their engagement via Twitter in January of this year during a trip to Hawaii.
