Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks May Be Headed Towards Divorce

Since Apollo Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks of Real Housewives of Atlanta, was sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft, many people have been wondering what will come of his marriage. Well, he had a lot to say about in an interview with Atlanta’s B-100.. and what he has to say was not good.

When asked if he thinks his marriage will survive his eight-year prison stint, he responded with a bluntly honest answer.

“Uhh.. I doubt it,” he said in the interview and further explained, “I mean my wife didn’t even f—ing show up for my sentencing… I’m still salty about that.”

As for his family life, he didn’t have many positive things to say about that either.

“Oh it’s hell—hell on wheels,” he began. “I’ve asked God to forgive me and I’ve forgiven myself. I had to move on […] I just really had to bite down. I was going through so much. It doesn’t make you less of a man to cry and shed tears. I’ve just really been upset at just how I was raised and that I could possibly be taking my son through the same thing. But by the grace of God, he’s still young and we have many years ahead of us. For me, I just can’t make the same mistakes.”

This is the second long-term prison stay for Nida, who previously served time for six years between 2003 and 2009 for car theft charges. This will be his first long-term sentence since marrying Parks in 2009. The couple have two children together.
