Color Me Badd, Troop & Silk Give Throwback Performances for 2014 BET Awards

BET gave viewers an epic throwback, bringing 90’s R&B to the 2014 BET Awards when Troop, Silk and Color Me Badd hit the stage for a performance.

First up, was Troop to sing their 1989 hit “All I Do is Think of You,” which was No. 1 on the Billboard R&B charts in 1990. The hit single helped their album “Attitude” certify Gold.

Next up was Color Me Badd with their hit “I Wanna Sex You Up.” Despite missing one member–Sam Watters– the group pulled off the hit without a problem. The song first appeared on the soundtrack for the film “New Jack City in 1991.

Closing out the throwback segment, Silk took the stage and belted out their 1993 baby-making song “Freak Me,” which seemed to bring the most excitement to the crowd.
