Nick Cannon To Host Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks From Brooklyn

This year’s most watched fireworks show in the world is headed to Brooklyn!

Nick Cannon is set to host the Independence Day concert on East River’s Brooklyn Bridge this July 4th weekend. It will be the event’s first return to the landmark in almost 20 years for the famed light show, which was last seen in Brooklyn in 1995.

“Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks are a one-of-a-kind spectacle that will once again inspire audiences nationwide as we illuminate the shores of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn with stunning effects, color and sound,” added Amy Kule, executive producer of Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks. “We are thrilled to be working with our partners in the City of New York to have the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge as our canvas and stunning backdrop for this year’s bigger-than life display.

Special performances for NBC’s 38th annual “Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” will star chart topper Ariana Grande with her hit single “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea. Other talents for the event include Nashville superstar Miranda Lambert, R&B legend Lionel Richie and country cutie Hunter Hayes.

The telecast is scheduled to display its phenomenal blast-off at 8 p.m. on NBC July 4th!
