Rihanna Stuns Red Carpet In See-Through Dress At CFDA Awards
Rihanna walked the red carpet at the CFDA Fashion Awards with all the glamour and pomp of a Las Vegas showgirl in what one can only describe as a sparkly naked dress.
Designed by Adam Selman, the superstar was covered head-to-toe in more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals and a pink fur stole. Rihanna complemented her see-through ensemble with a matching headdress and gloves, but with the strategic placement of a fur stole, even her undies were in question! Although they disappeared from the rear view, the tiniest straps of thongs could be seen on her hips.
Leaving very little for the imagination, the provocateur singer was honored by the Council of Fashion Designers of America with the Fashion Icon award.
The annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all industries. Nominations for each award category were submitted by The CFDA Fashion Awards Guild, an invitation only network comprised of the top fashion retailers, journalists, stylists, influences and the 450+ member designers of the CFDA.
