Tia Mowry Files Massive Lawsuit Over Twitter Royalties

Premiere Of Focus Features' "That Akward Moment" - Red Carpet

We now have an idea as to why some celebrities can’t stop tweeting – they don’t tweet for free, and that cash can add up pretty quickly!

Tia Mowry-Hardrict filed a hefty lawsuit against a social media specialist who allegedly bamboozled her out of earnings made through Twitter deals. The Sister Sister star made arrangements to post sponsored tweets for companies in exchange for payments exceeding $108,000. However, the lawsuit claims that the agent she hired took more than his entitled 10% commission, cheating the actress of nearly $60,000 of cold Twitter deal cash.

Mowry is suing for that amount, plus an additional $120,000 in punitive damages.

She currently stars in the Nickelodean sitcom Instant Mom, where Mowry portrays a food blogger who trades cosmos for carpools when she marries an older man with a teenage daughter and two young sons. See her Thursday nights on Nickelodean at 8pm!

Now, go get your money girl!
