Tamron Hall Joins The ‘TODAY’ Family On NBC

NBC News’ anchor, Tamron Hall, joined Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist as co-host for the ‘Today’ 9 a.m. hour show.

Hall, 43, has been a regular fill-in on the show. She took part in reading news, covering special events and highlighting on social media buzz in the social network-themed digital studio called the Orange Room.

“We’re really excited to officially welcome Tamron into the TODAY family,” said Don Nash, TODAY’s Executive Producer. “She brings wit, enthusiasm and a keen sensibility to an all-around fantastic team, and I think Tamron, Al, Natalie and Willie will have a lot of fun together hosting the third hour.”

After years of working at various news stations, Hall joined NBC News in 2007 as a reporter and fill-in anchor before becoming anchor of MSNBC’s ‘NewsNation with Tamron Hall.’ The broadcast journalist hosted numerous special reports for MSNBC and NBC News, including “The Inauguration of Barack Obama,” which won an Emmy for Outstanding Live Coverage in October 2010.

Hall also hosts “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall” on Investigation Discovery.
