Real Housewives of Atlanta Stars Blame Kenya Moore for Fight

You have to have been living under a rock if you have not heard about the Real Housewives of Atlanta fight on this past Sunday’s show.

More and more of the cast are speaking out about the fight and fingers are pointed at Kenya Moore as the culprit of the massive fight.

On the episode that aired, Nene Leakes had a shouting match with Kenya as she yelled at her for getting out of her seat and causing the chaos.

“Kenya was the spark that lit the fire. Whenever she’s around, we have the worst times!” NeNe wrote in her blog. “I’ve been on this show from the very beginning and we have NEVER had a physical altercation on this show!”

On the other hand, many viewers actually blame Nene for getting the physical altercations started because she hosted the Pillow Talk event that included  a Q&A session of very controversial relationship topics. Through Twitter NeNe accepted some responsibility, but  not fully because she said she expected her guests to display self-control.

Cynthia Bailey also believes it was Kenya who caused the brawl.

“I felt like once—and I don’t want to blame everything on Kenya—but once she actually got up, then that made Brandon get up,” said Cynthia who clarified that her husband was trying to defuse the situation, not escalate it.

She also partly takes blame by admitting, “In hindsight, I guess I was being a little messy. I do regret that I ever brought it up.”

After  numerous cast members placed the blame on Kenya, they have also took the time to apologize on behalf of the cast.

“I want to apologize on behalf of the whole cast tonight. It was really hard to watch this fight tonight. I’ve been on the show for four years. Never, I don’t think ever in the history of the whole show has anyone on the show laid hands on each other,” Cynthia said on “Watch What Happens Live.”

NeNe also gave an apology saying, “Violence is never okay with me. I think it’s a sad display of behavior and I think it is sad to the Black community to be a part of such negative activity! I am bigger; I am better and for that I apologize!”

Regardless of the regrets and blame, the episode went down as the biggest fight in Real Housewives of Atlanta history and the chaos will continue when the show returns on February 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
