Idris Elba Poses with Girlfriend at Golden Globes
Idris Elba and his pregnant girlfriend Naiyana Garth made a striking appearance on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
The London native and his glowing girlfriend looked blissfully happy as they posed together for the media.
The 41-year-old actor looked spiffy in a blue three-piece suit with a white shirt as he wrapped his arm around his girlfriend.
Naiyana was chicly dressing in a black floor-length dress with a plunging neckline that showed off her flourishing baby bump.
Idris was nominated for his leading role in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. His competition in the category was Chiwetel Ejiofor for 12 Years a Slave, Tom Hanks for Captain Phillips, Robert Redford for All is Lost and Dallas Buyers Club actor Matthew McConaughey, who ultimately took the award home.
Despite not winning big at the Golden Globes, the award season is not over yet. Idris is nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the Mandela biopic.
Idris and Naiyana have been dating since March and announced they were expecting a baby a together in November. The arrival of the baby will make Idris’ 11-year-old daughter Isan a big sister.
