Kanye West Vows To Keep Quiet “Six Months, At Least” In 2014

With less than a week until the start of the New Year, Kanye West has already made his New Year’s resolution for 2014.

West has become well-known for his controversial statements in the recent years, but it looks like he wants to try something different. During a 27-minute rant at his Yeezus concert on Dec. 23 in Toronto, the rapper vowed to keep his mouth shut for “six months, at least.”

“Everything I’m saying that’s not allowed, soak it in right now,” he told the crowd.”This might be the last time y’all hear me talk s–t for a long time.”

The 36-year-old brought up his recent issues with Nike and promised to move forward and only mention the sneaker company with positive thoughts.

I’m not [going to] ever bring up Nike again. And the only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light,” he said. “Because I actually appreciate the opportunity to have been able to make my own shoe with them, and if I didn’t have the opportunity I wouldn’t have my deal I have with Adidas right now.”

He also referenced his rant about the Grammy nominations, where he blasted the fact that he only received two nominations for his critically acclaimed Yeezus album. He says he will not speak of the Grammy’s negatively again, but unleashed one last rant towards the organization.

“You don’t run sh*t!” West continued. “You rent the Staples Center for one night and give some godd**n awards away! F–k you … F–k you for Christmas. I’m gonna wrap this f–k you real tight and deliver it to the Grammys on Christmas night.”

Yeezy concluded his last rant of 2013 by adding that he is “moving forward to a whole other level.”
