Bright and early this morning, GQ released the cover images for their 18th Annual Men of the Year issue featuring Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, Will Ferrell, Matthew McConaughey, and the late James Gandolfini.

In the special December issue, Lamar, who was named GQ’s “Rapper of the Year”, opens up about his “Control” verse and his relationship with Drake. When asked if the Compton born rapper was cool with Drake, Lamar replied, ” Pretty cool. I mean, I would be okay if we weren’t.” Lamar went on to acknowledge that Drake felt his “Control” verse was a diss and added that he wasn’t a creative influence or role model saying, “If anything, we are peers.”

GQ’s Men of The Year issue will be on newsstands on November 19.
