Obama, Kanye West Amongst Ask Men’s Most Influential

Yesterday, AskMen released their list of the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2013 featuring Kanye West and Barack Obama amongst others.

The list is jam packed with big names ripped from the latest headlines, from sports stars like Lebron James, Floyd Mayweather, Peyton Manning and the UFC’s Jon Jones to chart toppers Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Drake, who ranked just below Nelson Mandela. While some surprises on the list include the ranking of two fictional characters and Pope Francis, the biggest surprise was list toppers Jason Collins at #2 and entrepreneur Elon Musk at #1. Collins was chosen for being the first active pro-athlete in history to come out as gay and Musk, the founder of PayPal and CEO of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, was ranked for being the truest “visionary” out of the entire list.

For the record, AskMen did not agree with West’s previous remarks that he is more influential than the president ranking him 41 to Obama’s 17.
