Rihanna Is the New Face Of MAC Viva Glam

Rihanna has been revealed as the new face of MAC’s 2014 Viva Glam campaign that raises money for the MAC AIDS Fund.

MAC confirmed that the 25-year-old Barbadian singer will be fronting next year’s campaign via a very excited tweet last week, “Welcome to #VIVAGLAM…@Rihanna! Arriving January 2014.”

Rihanna responded with her own tweet saying, “Mama, Ima #VIVAGLAM girl!!! Super thrilled to be teaming up with @MACcosmetics for Charity! #VIVAGLAM more lipstick, more lives impacted!”

Every cent of the selling price of Viva Glam lipsticks and lipglass is donated to the MAC AIDS Fund. Founded in 1994, the MAC AIDS Fund supports men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS.

As a spokesperson for Viva Glam, Rihanna will be following in the footsteps of celebrities like Mary J Blige, Lil Kim, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj.

Rihanna and the well known beauty brand recently worked together on a series of color capsule collections released this year.
