Pharrell Williams and Wife Attend Angel Ball Charity In New York City
Pharrell Williams and his wife, Helen Lasichanh, attended the Angel Ball 2013 hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street Oct. 29 in New York City.
The star-studded event is known for its live entertainment and celebrity participants who join together to honor individuals who have made significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to support cancer research.
Williams joined forces on stage with Usher Raymond as the two performed live at the gala. The two definitely had the spotlight, especially since Usher dazzled in a glittering two-piece and a colorful bow tire. Showing off their dance moves with a slew of other celebrities, including Rita Ora and Jessica White, the performance was a hit!
The 2012 gala raised $3.7 million for the quest to cure cancer with a special surprise performance by Grammy Award-winner Nelly. New York columnist Suleika Jaouad impressed the audience with her story of survivorship which moved the sold-out crowd into a standing ovation.
