Tyra Banks Sues Wig Companies For $10 Million
Tyra Banks is suing 10 companies for using her “name, photograph, image, and identity” to sell wigs. Several of the websites displayed wigs such as The Yaki straight [Tyra-Banks style] wig, the Tyra Banks custom lace wig #046, and the Tyra Banks inspired human hair wig that cost around $300!
The lawsuit used several pages to explain the former supermodel’s valuable trademark, and to prove her fame, attached her 11-page IMDB profile as an exhibit. Tyra Banks is suing for an injunction to stop selling the infringing products – and at least $10 million in damages.
