Tameka Raymond Sued by Landlord

Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Raymond,  is being sued for $50,000 in unpaid rent and other expenses by the landlord for a small business Raymond owns, according to TMZ.

Antelope Valley Plaza (AVP) filed an eviction case against Raymond claiming that she signed a two-year lease agreement back in 2010 for three retail spaces in a Georgia complex where Raymond runs Kangazoom, an indoor play center for kids.

AVP claims that Raymond was supposed to pay $9,966.67 a month, but she has failed to make those payments for months and now owes $36,943.42 in back rent. Aside from the back rent, AVP says Raymond also owes more than $4,000 in late charges and $2,000 in unpaid taxes bringing the grand total to $49,816.18.

Raymond says AVP breached the contract and wants the case to be dismissed.
