Rapper 50 Cent wants to help fight the problem of music piracy

Rapper 50 Cent has spoken out about music piracy and says he plans to fight the problem himself.

The 34-year-old rapper believes the music industry is not in a dire situation but is just going through a few problems.

During a recent interview on 50 Cent: The Lost Tapes, he said: ‘I don’t think the music business is dying. I think we’re just experiencing technology and we have to pass new laws, eventually, to change how music is being distributed.

‘There’s no lack of interest in great material, I don’t see people ‘not’ going to the nightclub or enjoying themselves when the song comes on. It’s just about redeveloping what the music business is.’
