Global firm awards Tuskegee over $20,000 for student scholarships

Donaldson Company Inc. of Auburn, Ala., recently awarded Tuskegee University $22,500 for student scholarships for the 2009-2010 school year. Students will be selected based on their major in either engineering or business, and their desire to co-op with a global company like Donaldson, a leading provider of filtration systems and replacement parts. It serves customers in the industrial and engine markets, including dust collection, power generation, specialty filtration, compressed air purification, off-road equipment, industrial compressors, heavy trucks and light vehicles.

“Donaldson’s gift is very much appreciated by Tuskegee University,” said Dr. Benjamin F. Payton, President.  “These funds will help us to recruit, retain and prepare students for careers in a global society. On their behalf, I want to thank the Donaldson Foundation for their generous support and look forward to the growth of a solid partnership with an industry leader.”
