Man Sentenced Over Killing Of TI’s Assistant

57532660Pardon Thomas, one of the two men involved in the killing of rapper TI’s assistant and friend Philant Johnson back in 2006, has been sentenced for his role in the crime. He has been sentenced to 17 years in prison, after admitting to driving the vehicle that chased TI’s entourage in Cincinnati following an argument in a club, resulting in the deadly shooting. Following sentencing, Thomas said: “I was a knucklehead. I wish I could take it back”. Thomas had previously testified against his brother Hosea, the other man involved in the incident, who was identified as the trigger man, and convicted of Johnson’s murder. He was sentenced to 66 years in prison in December. As you will no doubt remember, TI is himself currently serving time for weapons possession.
