Obama, McCain to visit Michigan next week

Michigan will again gain the attention of the presidential candidates next week with visits tentatively scheduled for both Democratic Sen. Barack Obama and Republican Sen. John McCain.

Although the McCain campaign wouldn’t confirm details of a visit on Tuesday, the AFL-CIO sent out an alert, asking its members to protest the visit to the Fermi Nuclear Plant in Frenchtown Township, near Monroe.
