Venus Williams Launches

Venus Williams has launched as the online home for all aspects of the tennis superstar’s life on and off the court, including her recently introduced lifestyle apparel brand, EleVen by Venus Williams (TM).

Created to provide fans of Venus a fully immersing experience, the website offers regularly updated information, videos and photos about EleVen, the footwear and apparel line she created with retailer Steve & Barry’s(R) that debuted last November. Visitors to the site will also find short films, tournament schedules and match updates, and background on issues and organizations Venus cares about deeply.

The website also features Venus’s first-ever blog, called “V’s Blog,” which provides a rare glimpse into her thoughts about fashion and traveling on the WTA Tour(R). The first series of “V’s Blog” posts were written during last week’s Bangalore Open in India, where Venus reached the semi-finals. Venus provided a look inside her daily regimen in India, and shared her thoughts about preparing for this summer’s Olympic(R) Games. Venus launched EleVen by Venus Williams, available exclusively at Steve & Barry’s stores nationwide, in November 2007.

The 120+ item collection features a wide assortment of classic, active lifestyle and performance looks, on-court as well as casual footwear, accessories, and more. The affordably priced line includes V-Court, the sneaker Venus wears during her matches. ABOUT VENUS WILLIAMS Venus Williams began her professional tennis career at the tender age of 14.
