Atlanta Radio Station Provides Help To Hurricane Katrina Victims

Atlanta radio station DJ’s Frank Ski and Comedian Wanda Smith provided help to many victims from Hurrican Katrina by soliciting donations from their loyal listeners. The original goal was to provide shelter to at least 25 families but an overwhelming response from local businesses and everyday citizens is allowing them possibly surpass that amount.

The official website for V103 (Atlanta’s largest radio station for reaching African Americans) also has posted details about a food drive in the Atlanta area in connection with the Hosea Feed the Hungry movement.

Those interested should visit the station’s official website for more information on how to help.
