John Kerry Making Last Rounds With African American Voters

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry sings along with the choir at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in October 17th, 2004 in Columbus, Ohio. Kerry preached a Sunday morning message of change from the pulpit at the predominantly African-American Baptist church in Ohio, another key swing state.

Kerry has also received help on the campaign trail from Jesse Jackson and Al Sharption. Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton have been rivals lately but have appeared together in multiple cities with Sen. Kerry to bring out the African American vote for Kerry.
